I don’t know why, but I get asked many, many variations of the same few questions. 

I’ve tried to address the ones that come up multiple times, but if you don’t see your question here, it’s probably because I don’t know how to answer it. Some of them are pretty odd. 

1.  Where are you from? / Are you from Yemen? To be as simple as possible, I’m Yemeni and American. I reside in the U.S.
2. Do you speak Arabic? Sort of.
3. What does your [old] title mean? It’s from this poem, “Identity Card” by Mahmoud Darwish.
4. Follow me back? (in every language)Thanks for the suggestion.
5. Where is your theme from? This one. I just used a big picture of my face as the background, ha!.
6. All other questions related to tumblr-stuff. I appreciate that you think my tumblr is cool, but I can’t offer any help with your blogs.
7. All music related questions. This is all the music I’ve posted and my last.fm. I’m always open to new music, so feel free to suggest! I’m esp partial to rap, r&b and house/dance.
8. All questions related to my political opinions - everything from Occupy Wall Street to the Muslim Brotherhood to Israel. If you take more than a cursory look at my blog, it’s pretty obvious where I stand on various things.
